Gnosticism

Gnosticism is a religious movement that has different belief. They believed that the human soul is trapped into something materialistic and is invaded into something evil. To free a person soul they will need gnosis of god. They also believed that Jesus of Nazareth is gnosis and was incarnated in to earth to have people follow him into the good. Gnostism was something very big in the Meditteranean and Middle Eatern regions. Most of gnostic converted into Islam but there are very few left. It became very influential in philosophers during the 19th and 20th centuries in Europe and North America.
